The roast deepens the leaf
Roasting tea is an art that turns a fresh, floral leaf into something darker — caramel, dried fruit, dark honey, sometimes a hint of campfire smoke. Done well, it doesn't hide the tea. It opens a different room of it.
Ruby Oolong is grown around Sun Moon Lake in central Taiwan. The natural cinnamon and mint notes of the leaf are deepened by roasting and GABA processing — calming, grounding, perfect for the cooler months.
Brew it hot, in small cups, and let the steeps unfold slowly.
