why we started
we wanted another way to spend an evening.
Within started around tables in Bali. We would make tea, put our phones away, and stay longer than planned. The pot gave everyone something to gather around. The slower pace made it easier to hear the person across the table.
That became the shape of the company. We choose tea we want to drink ourselves, explain it without turning tea into an entry exam, and host small gatherings with tea at the centre.
Tea is the foundation. Connection is the purpose.
